There are many reasons why I want to be a healthcare professional and has an impact on not just my life but on many others. I have always had a passion for helping others and making a positive impact in other people’s lives. Additionally, I find the human body and how it works so fascinating, that the body can be so complex, functioning and working in ways we can not see. I have a hunger and passion to learn as much as I can about it and complete thorough studies to aid in the development and diagnosis of disease. I also believe that healthcare is a field where I can learn and grow continuously, both professionally and personally. Healthcare is always in demand and so job security and stability are not a worry. Health care is not an easy field and comes with many times of joy and hardship but is so rewarding and worth every second if it means helping and impacting someone’s life positively.
People who are sick or are in need come in for care during their worst times and I have always had a desire and passion to be there for people in all phases good or bad. Being able to make a tangible difference in someone’s life to help them or their family work through a major part of their life gets me excited. My caring and nurturing personality has given me the patience and desire to do everything in my power to bring some light or peace in times of turmoil and provide comfort to them. I have had the experience of being on the other side of providing the treatment and being treated and am thankful for the healthcare professionals who made me feel so comforted and supported, I want to be a part of the future healthcare providers to ensure that people feel like they are in the best possible hands. The healthcare field is an outlet where I can make a positive difference in my community and the world. I want to use my skills and knowledge to help those in need and contribute to the greater good.
