Expanding CPR and first aid training for early childhood educators across Pennsylvania

Building on the success of our previous contract, we are excited to announce that our partnership with the Pennsylvania State System of Higher Education (PASSHE) continued for the period of July 1, 2021 – June 30, 2022. This second contract with the Early Childhood Education Professional Development Organization (ECE PDO) at PASSHE allowed Pacific Medical Training to expand our impact, reaching more educators across the state with essential first aid and CPR training.

Serving 62 counties in Pennsylvania

In this phase of our partnership, we extended our services across 62 counties in the Southwest, Northwest, Central, and Northeast regions of Pennsylvania. By collaborating with Shippensburg University, we ensured that high-quality Pediatric First Aid and CPR training, aligned with American Heart Association (AHA) standards, was accessible to early childhood educators in these areas.

Innovative training delivery

To meet diverse learning preferences and ensure flexibility, we offered:

These training options ensured that educators across Pennsylvania received the critical skills needed to provide safe and responsive care to children, whether in traditional classrooms or virtual environments.

Supporting PDO/ECE grant requirements

This project was not only about delivering quality training but also fulfilling specific grant requirements for the ECE PDO. By providing certified training across PASSHE regions, we helped early childhood education programs meet compliance standards, which ultimately enhances safety and care quality across the state.

A growing commitment to early childhood safety

Our ongoing partnership with PASSHE reflects a shared commitment to making early learning environments safer. As we continued our work, we brought specialized training to a wider audience, fulfilling both the immediate needs and long-term goals of Pennsylvania’s early childhood education programs.
