All our courses are written in house by our team of writers, technical editors, copy editors, and publication team
which are experts in their respective fields. Where appropriate, our materials do reference the canonical scientific
literature for that topic; for example, our ACLS course cites the
American Heart Association Circulation articles. Our courses are always based on the latest revision
of the available science as we make frequent updates. Although the scientific publications are released every 5 years
for AHA ACLS/PALS/BLS and slower for other topics, we do update
our course material through a review process that solicits customer feedback to strive for the best training materials
possible. Education is a competitive market and we work hard to make the best products and experiences possible.
We provide skill testing and individual in-person training using our network of 3,000+ instructors. All of our
instructors hold current AHA instructor qualifications. Additionally, some instructors may also hold accreditation
with the Health & Safety Institute.
Qualifications to become an instructor to teach these courses
PMT policy is that instructors who hold current AHA instructor qualifications are eligible to teach PMT courses.
Skills testing
We offer virtual skills testing for our Monitor Tech course. It is included for free for all purchases over $650. The
skills testing will be done remotely via Zoom or FaceTime. Skills testing is also available for other courses upon
request.

These courses are offered in fully instructor-lead format. We can support any size class, starting with 15 people and
