I thought the BLS renewal course was good. It was at the right level for renewal. In my several decades in dentistry I’ve never had to resuscitate a patient, thank God!, but I recognize the need to be ready to do so. I liked much of the first aid part as well though I’m highly unlikely to encounter frostbite as a dentist!
I have completed the course and overall, I think the material is adequate and covers most of what a scribe should know about if working in general practice or in the ED.
I found the material very easy to follow and well organized. The discussion parts throughout the course were very helpful at giving the students some real-life situations to think about that they otherwise might not have. I realize that the course developer has a background in emergency care so, that may be why so much of the curricula was devoted to the ER. However, I think a section covering the outpatient clinic environment would also be helpful to give prospective scribes a sense of what they might expect in that setting.
She was great! I was really nervous because I don’t do well on skills testing and she helped me calm down.
The course was helpful and I refer to the material often for patient education.

I did enjoy the course. I am a semi-retired Oral Surgeon and only work part-time. Now, I only use local anesthesia and no hospital work so this was a very good course for me.

Thank You for reaching out. The course was great. I did find some of the content a bit repetitive so it took more time to get through the content that I had already in view in other sections.
Also, I’d have hoped that the 12-lead ECG course could’ve been offered to me discounted. I was interested in doing that course which is complementary to the ACLS.
Overall the experience was a good one and I have already recommended it to my colleagues.
I like the course as it is up to date and gives me ample time to read. The material is based on my schedule. It is up to date. The acls.net has already been encouraged during the pandemic.
I will share with friends who would need renewals.

I loved using the Pacific Medical Training home ACLS renewal. It was so convenient to do at home and at my own pace. I actually felt like I learned more than the live lecture because I could stop and read something over again. I also found the ACLS review very concise and helpful as well.
